La UNACAR se prepara para dotar de cuadros a la nueva industria petrolera
La Universidad Autónoma del Carmen (Unacar), del Estado de Campeche, marcha a pasos agigantados a convertirse en una de las primeras instituciones educativas mexicanas en prepararse para proveer de recursos humanos y tecnológicos de punta a la nueva industria petrolera surgida de la Reforma Energética, dada la visión de las autoridades académicas y administrativas coordinadas por el rector doctor José Antonio Ruz Hernández.
El secreto de esa audacia vanguardista radica en la proyección del Centro de Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnológico para la Industria Petrolera (CIDESI), el cual contará con los servicios tecnológicos de robótica, metrologÃa, diseño y fabricación de herramientas para la producción petrolera, formación de recursos humanos, entre otros, cuya primera etapa entrará en operación en agosto de 2015.
Los objetivos del nuevo plantel -que forma parte del complejo Parque de Investigación, Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnológico Ambiental (PIDETA)- son: Ampliar la infraestructura cientÃfico-tecnológica estatal con la creación de un nuevo centro público de investigación; impulsar la vinculación gobierno-academia-empresa y la transferencia de tecnologÃa y una de las cosas más importantes formar capital humano especializado.
Para servir a Campeche y a la región
Al iniciarse las obras del CIDESI, el rector Ruz Hernández, destacó: “Este Centro Público de Investigación ampliará la infraestructura cientÃfico-tecnológica estatal y responderá a las demandas del sector industrial con personal especializado en la investigación aplicada, el desarrollo experimental, la innovación tecnológica y los servicios para el sector petrolero y otras empresas establecidas en el Estado de Campeche y la regiónâ€.
Las instalaciones de la nueva infraestructura académica se levantan en una superficie de dos hectáreas que fueron donadas a la Unacar, en reconocimiento de su estricto seguimiento de sus planes y programas de desarrollo formativo y la rigurosa disciplina en su gestión administrativa
